July 13, 2020 Fund Report Update
Crave Beauty Academy signed and submitted to the Department of Education the Recipient’s Funding Certification and Agreement for the Student portion Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Formula Grants Authorized by Section 18—4 (a)(1) of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. For the student portion of the funds on May 8, 2020.
Crave Beauty Academy takes receipt of these federal funds seriously and are distributing them in accordance with the CARES Act and implementing guidance.
The institution is making the below information available for transparency purposes in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education.
Crave Beauty Academy assures no less than 50% of funds received under Section 18004 (a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants will be distributed to students.
The total amount of funds that the institution will receive or has received from the Department pursuant to the institutions Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students is $113,969.00. The total amount of emergency financial aid grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of the date of this FUND report is $113,969.00.
The number of students that received the Emergency Financial Aid Grant and eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in the title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of this Fund Report is 129.
The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of the date of this Fund Report is 117.

Exhibit II – LETTER TO STUDENT ACCOMPANING THE EMERGENCY FINANCIAL AID GRANT FUNDS CHECK DISBURSEMENT
Dear Student,
The Emergency funds per the Cares Act Authorized by Section 18—4 (a)(1) of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act for the student portion of the funds have been received and are being released.
Students eligible for said funds meet the criteria of the following:
Student checks are being mailed out today and the next couple of days. The student checks will be mailed to the address listed on your grant application. The amount of the student check is $975.00 or $974.00. The whole amount differs due to “rounding” per the Department of Education guidelines.
As previously discussed, and stated on the grant application, eligible expenses for these funds include expenses under a student cost of attendance such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care and childcare.
