How to Get Ready for Beauty School This Summer: Our Ultimate Checklist
Did you know that you don’t have to wait until the “Back to School” season to start beauty school? Summer is actually a fantastic time to enroll in cosmetology school and get a head start on your training.
First of all, you can finish up your training hours before the majority of students who wait to start in the fall. Summer classrooms tend to be smaller, which allows you to connect with your classmates and instructors. And finally, you don’t need to give up all your summer fun either. Class schedules are still flexible enough for even full-time students to enjoy the season!
If you are enrolled in a beauty school program, you may be wondering how to get ready for school in the summer. There are many things you need to do before the program begins – so here’s a helpful guide!
Make Sure You Choose the Right Beauty School
First things first, make sure that you choose the right beauty school for you. You want to attend a school that will set you up for long-term success by providing comprehensive training. Not only do you need to master the essential skills of the program, but you also should learn valuable professional skills.
For instance, all our beauty school students get to practice in the student salon and spa. This allows you to get true hands-on experience and see what it is like to work with clients in a professional environment. This gives our students a meaningful advantage and helps them prepare to pass the state practical exam.
It is also important to double-check your school’s accreditation. You cannot apply for the state licensing exam unless you complete training from a State Board-approved beauty school. Crave Beauty Academy is proud to be the only iTEC approved beauty school. This means that our school meets all state accreditation and is even certified internationally.
